Invitations

Next on my planning list for the wedding is picking out invitations. How do you even do that? Where do you find invitations? How do you make them? How do you choose? There are all these places in the wedding magazines, but they charge way too much. $900 for 100 invites? No thanks.
I know you can make your own and buy stuff at Michael's but they're a little generic.
I've seen some really cool invitations but I don't know where people got them. And we all make choices on what to spend money on and I really don't want to spend a lot of money on invitations.
Can't I just use reporter notebook paper and write down the details? That would be kind of charming, right?
Maybe not. For you readers, if you know of Web sites with invitations that are cheap and nice, post them on the comments!!!! I beg you :)

Hey Kari. It's me -- Brady:)

Ben's cousin made our invitations. They were reasonably priced, and she even mailed them out for us! Sweet, huh? Of course, we paid for postage. She can do almost anything you want. I sent a magazine advertisement of invites I loved and her simples were nearly right on. Since I was in Washington at the time, I corresponded via e-mail with her (she lives in Wisconsin). She also did my sister-in-law's wedding announcement and save-the-date.

Her web site doesn't do her work justice. But check it out: http://web.mac.com/wernerdesign/Business/Welcome.html

Good luck.
